ETA approval and CE marking
ETA approval
- ETA stands for European Technical Assessment and is a document recognized in the member states of the EU that describes the technical performance of a construction product in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR).
- Additional features can be included in this performance, which may exceed the existing generally applicable harmonized standard.
- To receive ETA approval for our CENTUM® T-Lock / T-Lock Plus products, the components were tested and technically assessed by a recognized institute (designated by the European Organization for Technical Assessment - EOAT) and technically assessed.
- The ETA marking is a product performance certificate of the highest quality, which at the same time as the CE marking represents even more safety.
- CE marking
- CE certifies that the products from our modular CENTUM® system are manufactured in accordance with the harmonized EU-wide standard EN 1090.
- This gives the end user added security. The declared performance is recorded in the Declaration of Performance (DoP).
- This means the CENTUM® system is also suitable for permanent use as a load-bearing structural element in buildings.
- CE confirms the safety of the components - this is of the highest importance, especially for safety-relevant applications in the heavy-duty sector.
