A tradition continues
The Christmas season is a very special and, above all, reflective time. The focus should be on the really important things, even in our often stressful and hectic company days. For this reason, we adopted a motto a few years ago: DONATE INSTEAD OF GIVING
We want to provide support where help is needed. Solidarity and social responsibility are important to us. For this reason, we use the money for a donation and have refrained from giving presents to our customers for three years now. This Christmas, our donation of €15,000 went to the Kinder- und Jugendhospizdienst Hohenlohekreis. The hospice in Öhringen is currently setting up a grieving group for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 16, which will offer a protected space for the individual expression of grief. This is where our donation will be used.
More about the Kinder- und Jugendhospizdienst
The Kinder- und Jugendhospizdienst Hohenlohekreis accompanies and supports children, young people, adults and families who are grieving for loved ones or struggling with life-shortening illnesses. Families with children suffering from life-shortening illnesses are accompanied, as are children who need support with parents suffering from life-threatening illnesses. The entire family system is supported individually, as well as individual family members or close relatives. The support is provided by volunteers who have been specially trained and qualified to work with children and families. They give those affected time and are there for them. We are delighted to be able to support the hospice in this way with our donation.
