In addition to teaching the normal curriculum, as a specialist in fixing systems, we also value the acquisition of practical skills in the training of our young people - including those from the commercial sector - when it comes to handling assembly technology products. That is why the trainees go through several product training sessions to get to know the range and areas of application. The young people recently had a special opportunity for practical experience by building a product display for the Nordbygg 2020 fair, the largest construction fair in Scandinavia, which was to take place in Sweden and has now been moved from April 2020 to next year. With such displays, the diverse possibilities of fastening technology can be demonstrated and they are also striking exhibits at fairs and events. From the theoretical requirement to the finished display

The requirement was that the display can be transported on a Euro pallet with industrial trucks and that the weight is less than 300 kg. In consultation with the product management, the design department created plans and drawings with which the trainees should set up the display. In addition to dealing with drawings and parts lists, the trainees also learned a lot about the flexible design and connection options with the CENTUM^© heavy-duty system for industrial and plant engineering as well as the rail systems 45.

The outer frame construction of the display was largely constructed using CENTUM^© profiles. The profiles have a closed cross-section, which means that they can absorb very high loads. The profiles are available with a width of 80 and 100 mm, different heights from 80 to 200 mm and different material thicknesses from 2.5 to 5 mm. The wide range of accessories for angle connectors, holders and threaded connections for pipe brackets enables a wide range of solutions in plant construction that can also be installed quickly and easily. The heavy-duty system is even used for load-bearing structures in buildings.
